December

Time is sure flying by! Annelise will be celebrating her first Christmas next week!! Annelise is growing so fast. Smiling all the time now and can hold her head up about 90% of the time now! She is so strong. Grant is off now for Christmas break, so we are excited to have daddy home! I go back to work on Jan 3rd, 3 days a week :-(. Other, than that we are doing good. I had the flu and so far Annelise seems to have missed it. Thank goodness. She will be 3 months on Monday already! These last three months have been a blessing and wonderful! Here are a few pics from her photo shoot. We will be here on Christmas Eve and morning. Then we will head to Aberdeen for about a week to see Family and Friends!! Can't wait!! We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Growing!

Annelise had a check up last week. She weighed 9lbs 7oz. 9th percentile. Length 22.5 in , 41st percentile. Dr said Annelise is a healthy girl and is growing. She received her shots that day as well! She did good. So sad to see your baby go through that though. Annelise made her first visit to Santa on Sunday! She was awake on the car ride over and crashed right before we went in. We walked around and tried to wake her, but she stayed asleep during her pictures! They still turned out good. She is starting to talk and smile more. We love to hear her sweet little sounds. Everyday she is growing and changing!!!

Thanksgiving!!

We had a busy Thanksgiving week. Started last Sunday with Grant's family and then we went to Aberdeen during the week. She did great traveling on her first road trip!! I hope she will always be that way. :-) Annelise got to meet her Great Grandparent's, Great Aunt, cousins, extended family, and friends. Her new friend Eastyn is 6 days older than her!! Tiffany and I will have a great time watching our girls grow together! We were not able to see everyone, but Christmas will be here soon to complete the rounds! Hope everyone had safe travels and a wonderful Thanksgiving. Annelise is growing fast. She has a Drs appt on Wednesday for updated on her growth and to get vaccines!. Can't wait to see how much she weighs. Grant and I are so blessed and thankful to have her in our lives!! She is amazing!

Long week

Annelise is doing good. She weighs 7lbs 14 oz!! Getting to be a big girl. She did have an interesting week. Starting last Saturday she had some blood in her stools and was worse by Monday. We went to the doctor and it may be a milk allergy. We had been breastfeeding but she may not be able to digest some of the dairy proteins. So during the week we put her on soy formula and has been doing good -packing on the pounds! So over the weekend I am going to take dairy out of my diet and then will start breastfeeding again on Monday. We will slowly introduce dairy to make sure that was the real cause of the bleeding. This week has been pretty stressful for mommy, but Annelise is doing good. Nothing has bothered her at all. We are so lucky to have a great Dr's office to go to. We will keep you posted and will put new pics on over the weekend!!

Getting bigger

Annelise weighed in at 6 lbs 15.5 oz!! So close to seven! She is holding her head up! When she lays on her tummy she moves her head side to side!! Annelise has good ole baby acne! Hopefully that passes soon. She is still adorable though! We are getting excited for Thanksgiving to meet the rest of her family in Aberdeen!!!! Miss everyone! Take care!!

Getting bigger

Annelise weighed in at 6 # 4 oz!! We go again in two weeks!!! My little girl is so adorable and growing so fast. She is already a month old! We are cherishing every moment we have with her!

WOOHOO

Annelise weighed in today at 5 # 14 ounces!! Woohoo!! Finally past birthweight!!! So hopefully we will be to 6 # next week!!! Everything is going good!

weight check

Well Annelise had a weight check on Tuesday. She is 5 # 12 ounces now. SO close to birth weight. We go on Friday and hope to be over 5#13!! Keep your fingers crossed. She is starting to be more alert during the day. Annelise is very strong. She can hold her head up for short periods of time. Definitely growing in length! I am truly enjoying my time off from work. Motherhood is great and love being with my baby girl!! Will have some new pics soon!!

Weight check

Went in again today for a weight check!! Finally, good news. Annelise weighed in at 5# 10 ounces. She gained 4 ounces since Monday. Our feedings every 2 hours are paying off. Exhausting for me, but worth it for our baby girl! We will probably go again next week for a weight check. She should be over her birth weight next week!! Annelise is a great baby and we are so blessed! We love her tons. We were very lucky to have Grandma Hamilton here for a few days.!! Thanks for all our your help and support mom!! We even had a surprise visit from Aunt Lynn!! Grant and I have great family and friends. Thanks for loving our little girl!!

Annelise is doing good. Opening her eyes more. Gaining weight slowly. Now feeding every 2 hours and going back Thursday for weight check. We love our baby girl!!!

Hi

Annelise is doing great. We went to the pediatrician on Wednesday. She gained an ounce from what she had lost. But she grew another inch and a half. She is 5# 5oz and 20 in long. We go for a weight check on Monday. She has been eating like a champ so hopefully we will have put a few more ounces on her. Otherwise, everything is going good. Grant went back to work this week. I had girlfriends over from the west side for a couple of days! So great to have my girls. Miss Annelise has had a bunch of visitors over here as well. Grandma Hamilton is making the trip over on Sunday and staying for a few days. So we are excited to spend some time with her! Grandpa Green will be coming over soon too. We did a newborn photo shoot today!! She is so cute! I will have the CD next week sometime and will post some pics asap!! Miss everyone and will put some pics on tomorrow!! Love ya!!

She is amazing

Annelise is a great baby. She does not get to fussy. Loves bath time!! She is eating great and sleeping as well. Mommy and Daddy are doing good. Mommy is getting a routine down. Probably just in time for the little one to change it up! We are enjoying parenting and are so blessed that we have a precious baby girl!! We go to the pediatrician on Wednesday so lets hope all this eating is putting some meat on those bones!!
