She is amazing
Annelise is a great baby. She does not get to fussy. Loves bath time!! She is eating great and sleeping as well. Mommy and Daddy are doing good. Mommy is getting a routine down. Probably just in time for the little one to change it up! We are enjoying parenting and are so blessed that we have a precious baby girl!! We go to the pediatrician on Wednesday so lets hope all this eating is putting some meat on those bones!!

At Home
We are doing great. Annelise is a great baby!! She is feeding well and sleeps like a champ. We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy baby. So here is a quick version of our delivery:
After pondering whether or not to call, we called Dr with concern of slight bleeding around 10:30and possible contractions. We figured it was just braxton hicks b/c of Dr appointment on Friday. Dr said go to the hospital to get checked. We arrived at 11 pm and Jayme was dilated to 2 cm. They observed Jayme and the baby's heartbeat for 40 minutes. Jayme was having some contractions, so they wanted to monitor Jayme and the baby for another 2 hours. After about 2 and 1/2 hours, Jayme was dilated to 3.5 cm at 2:30 am. After seeing that significant change, they wanted us to remain overnight and Dr would be by to see us around 6:30 am. They kept Jayme and the baby on the monitor. "I felt like my contractions were getting stronger." The nurse came in and we were talking about pain management options. "I started feeling nauseated as contractions were getting stronger." The nurse said she would check me to see if I was dilated enough for an epidural. Sure enough, Jayme was dilated to 5 cm and the nurse said she was going to get the anesthesiologist and get a room ready for me. This was about 3:45 am. When we were waiting for the nurse to wheel Jayme to the birthing suite, Jayme was starting to get very uncomfortable. After arriving at the birthing suite, the anesthesiologist started to go through procedure stuff. As Jayme was lying in bed, her water broke and pain/contractions went through the roof. The anesthesiologist asked the nurse to check Jayme again. Sure enough, Jayme was at a 10!!! No wonder she was in pain. The nurses were running all over the place, calling Dr to get there, and the nurse asked the anesthesiologists to give a Jayme little numbing to help with the pain. The chances of getting numb at that point are very slim, but luckily Jayme got numb enough to enjoy the last 30 minutes of delivery. Because we were in the exam room for so long and they did not think we would be delivering until mid morning, we did not have any of our belongings with us. In the midst of waiting for the Dr. Jayme realized we needed our camera. Grant asked the nurses if he could run out to the car. They said you'd better sprint. The nurse gave Grant her badge so he could get into the back door. As he was running through the parking lot, he passed our Dr who was running into the hospital. Grant made it back with the camera, and by 5:06 am, Annelise Rae arrived. A very fast and furious labor/delivery. The most important thing-even though Annelise was 27 days early, she is in great health. The pediatrician said she looks great with no problems.
We are truly blessed to be parents of such a beautiful girl!

36 weeks
Had a great week. Dr. checked me yesterday for the first time! I was 1.5-2 cm dilated. 80% effaced and at stage station 0(which means the baby has dropped and is progressing). Blood pressure and everything else is doing good. Measurements were right on. Now we just wait and see what happens. It looks like this baby will probably be here before my due date! :-) But like Grant said it could be stubborn like me and stay like this for the next few weeks!! I will keep you all posted!!

35 weeks!

Oh boy! 5 or so weeks left!! Doing pretty good still. Not sleeping through the night anymore. I believe it is God preparing me and my body for what is coming. Other than that still working and moving along. Had my shower with Grant's side of the family and my friends over here. Thank you all! It was a wonderful day. Baby Richardson is pretty spoiled. My next appt is Friday and then I go every week from then on. We meet our pediatrician on Friday. Very sweet lady. We also took a tour of the birthing center. That was a reality check! We are really having this baby!! The hospital staff seems nice. Hope you all have a great week!!

34 weeks!

Had another great check up today. Baby is still measuring right on. My blood pressure and weight are both looking great. Getting closer to meeting the little one!! Heartbeat upper 130-140. I am mainly all belly! We will see how big the little one is when it comes out!!
Mark, Lindsay, and Evan visited us last weekend. Had a great time. He got to break in a few of baby Richardson's things. Little Evan is adorable. Here is a picture of him almost 3 months already.
