Pumpkin Carving

This was the only time she enjoyed grabbing the guts...once she realized it was slimy, she wanted nothing to do with grabbing

Annelise had a hayday carving pumpkins.  She did not like the slimy feeling of the inners, but loved taking the spoon and digging!  And don't worry, she was supervised by an expert with that Pumpkin saw!

This weekend, we went to the pumpkin patch at the Country Mercantile outside of Pasco.  They had a small petting zoo, hay towers, tractor ride, and of course pumpkins.  Oh ya-lets not forget that scary corn maze that about made Jayme go into labor!  Annelise had a fun time and picked out all three pumpkins for the family.  Her eyes were a bit bigger than her muscles, however, as you can see her attempting to puck up the princess pumpkin.  Halloween, here we come!
